Christian d. 8 was produced at the major Danish glassworks, Holmegaard, Kastrup and Fyens Glasvrk from the mid 19th century until the 1940s, when it was discontinued. It is also produced in a smooth version, called Berlinois. This glass has also been produced at Holmegaard, Kastrup and Fyens Glassworks. Christian d. 8 is one of the most extensive Danish glass series it is produced in 18 different sizes, from large porter glasses to rare
