The six water glasses are all signed HG8 x 3137 PL

this is achieved by blowing the glass into shape and then attaching the stem and twisting the optic inwards into the glass

but was manufactured for a short period of time at Holmegaard Glassworks

Holmegaard skylleskåle Nr. 208 Drikkeglas Han designede glasset for HolmegaardDiameter 12 cm. Height 7 cm. The bowl is very reminiscent of the Christian VIII glass with its facets. The rinsing bowls are seen in Holmegaard's catalog from 1923, as model 208. Beautiful mouth blown rinsing bowl from Holmegaard Glassworks. The bowl has a large polished mark at the bottom where the glassmaker's rod has sat. It is faceted on the sides and has a fine tone and color. They are in perfect condition.
