The beautiful hand painted calligraphy describes the information of a birth. The main text translates to 'Omiya Taigagen' which we believe is the name of the child. The smaller text translates to 'Bunkyu 2nd Year' which is 1862, and 'September due date' giving us the dates of when the child was meant to be born.
